Digital technologies are proving transformational for the life sciences. Australian BioCommons provides a national digital capability to enhance Australian research in its ability to understand the molecular basis of life across environmental, agricultural and biomedical science.

Australian BioCommons is a digital infrastructure capability that supplies bioinformatics research infrastructure at a national scale.

BioCommons enables Australian life sciences researchers and their collaborators to:

  • Understand the molecular basis of life by applying advanced digital research infrastructure, tools, software and training
  • Access and apply the bioinformatics tools, methods and reference data that can address national challenges and research questions.
