PROTEOMICS CAPABILITIES
Proteomics is concerned with protein structure and function. We support facilities offering a broad range of services including high throughput proteomics, protein biochemistry, monoclonal antibody production, along with drug discovery and screening.
OUR RESEARCH PLATFORMS
Our facilities host the latest in mass spectrometry, Amino Acid Analysis and N-Terminal sequencing technology and are staffed by leading national practitioners. The Bioplatforms proteomics network is a national fabric of leading practitioners, each with unique technologies that together ensure researchers have access to a comprehensive suite of proteomics capabilities.

The Australian Proteome Analysis Facility (APAF)
APAF offers academic and corporate clients modern functional proteomics and protein chemistry tools integrated with in-house and commercial bioinformatics toolkits. The facility engages in contract analysis, collaborative research, and technology development for industry, government, and the research community.

Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics,
University of South Australia
Our facility at the University of South Australia is a world leader in mass spectrometry-based imaging, offering critical collaborative services for spatial mapping of protein distribution. Alongside classical qualitative and quantitative proteomics, the UniSA facility provides substantial industrial and commercial partnerships.

Monash Proteomics & Metabolomics Facility (MPMF) and Monash Antibody Technologies Facility (MATF)
The Monash Proteomics & Metabolomics Facility and Monash Antibody Technologies Facility offer services for antibody discovery, production, sequencing, and cell line cryopreservation. Their focus is to generate high-affinity monoclonal antibodies tailored to customer needs.

Western Australian
Proteomics Facility
The University of Western Australia’s proteomics services offer expertise in research science proteomics, label-free quantitative proteomics, and cutting-edge in vivo stable isotope labeling proteomics for protein flux analysis. The UWA service provides leading national experience in plant and agricultural science proteomics.

Integrated Multiomics
Services
Our network offers a seamless multiomics service, integrating genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics for comprehensive biological insights. This capability also supports project design and consultation and data integration and analysis.
PROTEOMICS ANALYSIS

The BioCommons provides access to a range of fully subsidised resources to help Australian-based researchers undertake proteomics analysis.
